Air Routes: More traffic feed for Delta’s New York Kennedy hub. The carrier plans to start nonstop JFK-Phoenix service February 16. A 737-800 will make the trip once daily. The run is timed to connect with DL’s transatlantic departures…Southwest just keeps growing its Baltimore/Washington “focus city” (the carrier doesn’t like the word “hub”). Latest evidence: new nonstop service from BWI to Pittsburgh is set to fly March 11. There will be a trio of daily nonstops…Also as of March 11, a third-daily Buffalo-Orlando nonstop on Southwest, and a fifth daily Manchester-Orlando nonstop.

Airports: There’s a new 1,600-space parking garage serving American Airlines’ Terminal 8 at New York JFK, but it’s going to cost you $30 per day to park there…Another wine bar is on its way to Baltimore/Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airport. Look for Vino Volo to open a second outlet in December.

Hotels: Lots of flyers are touching down at BWI these days. To that end, there’s a new Hilton to accommodate them. The 280-room affair is just adjacent to BWI, and is 10 miles from the city’s Inner Harbor. There’s a decidedly decent fitness center, 12,000 square feet of meeting space, and a 24-hour self-service business center.

Aruba is proving a popular destination for JetBlue flyers. The low-fare, high-frills wünderkind is doubling up on Saturday service from JFK to the Caribbean enclave beginning December 26. In addition, JetBlue will offer double-daily departures on the route December 21 through January 7…Here’s a route few frequent flyers will take, but we thought we’d mention it anyway because it’s so unique. Air Greenland plans to launch weekly nonstop service from BWI to Kangerlussuaq (SFJ for those collecting airline codes) next May 25. The carrier is betting ecotourism will drive demand.
